Firstly our environment is priceless, and it is even more costly if we don't take care of it or if we misuse it. our impact on the physical environment can affect the way we live and most importantly our beloved earth. We as humans have become dependent on luxuries such as cars, houses, and even our cell phones. Things like overconsumption, overfishing, and deforestation are dramatically impacting our world. But what does our love for manufactured metallic and plastic goods do to the environment?
The environment is a complicated web of ecosystems that depend on each other, and people significantly impact its health and well-being. While we rely on the environment for survival and well-being, our actions often have unintended and harmful consequences.
Air pollution
Air pollution is the contamination of the indoor or outdoor environment by any chemical, physical or biological agent that modifies the natural characteristics of the atmosphere.
Household combustion devices, motor vehicles, industrial facilities and forest fires are common sources of air pollution. Pollutants of major public health concern include particulate matter, carbon monoxide, ozone, nitrogen dioxide, and sulfur dioxide. Outdoor and indoor air pollution cause respiratory and other diseases and are important sources of morbidity and mortality. Pollution enters the Earth's atmosphere in many different ways. Most air pollution is created by people, taking the form of emissions from factories, cars, planes, or aerosol cans. Second-hand cigarette smoke is also considered air pollution. These man-made sources of pollution are called anthropogenic sources.
Some types of air pollution, such as smoke from wildfires or ash from volcanoes, occur naturally. These are called natural sources.
Air pollution is most common in large cities where emissions from many different sources are concentrated. Sometimes, mountains or tall buildings prevent air pollution from spreading out. This air pollution often appears as a cloud making the air murky. It is called smog. The word "smog" comes from combining the words "smoke" and "fog."
To prevent air pollution it all refers back to us humans on controlling stuff like
- Reducing the overall emissions
- Number of vehicles reduced on the roads
- Lesser traffic congestion episodes
- turn off the light when not in use
- recycle and reuse
- no to plastic bags
- reduction of forest fire and smoking
- use of fans instead of air conditions

loving the back ground picture an this is so informative.
